Seed room
Heat tables now hold product (zinnias, flats of basil and peppers) instead of seedlings.
The aisles are starting to open up!

Flats– pansies and impatiens are blooming! We’ve removed supplies that were stored here (see last week’s pics) and filled in with more flats.

About the same as last week, but we’ve added more flats and trays of 4″ Wave petunias. You can see how much the marigolds have grown in a week!

Outside: pallets of pots stored nearby, ready to be brought in when needed. In a few weeks, after it gets warmer, there will be plants on display.

We’ll wait a bit longer to hang things in the uncovered house (in case of frost).

So… we now know that sparrows will eat tomato seedlings. (These trays used to be full.)

Geranium bay: geraniums planted, still have room for other things.
Seedlings spread out (left). They start out in the seed room, most on the heat table. After they sprout we move them off the heat so they don’t stretch.

Aloe will spread by runners; all these little baby plants are ready to be dug up and transplanted. I’ll have aloe available in the herb section this year, all thanks to three very productive stock plants.
